We of the Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade Committee are saddened to hear of Bishop Costello’s passing earlier today. We were blessed to have Bishop Thomas J. Costello join the St. Patrick’s Parade as our Grand Marshal in 2001. He also served as Honorary Chairman of our St. Patrick Hunger Project.
Bishop Costello was a steadying presence in our community. His commitment to doing good touched many lives. He will be deeply missed. We join the community in mourning his loss.
