The Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade Committee is proud to introduce our 2020 Rose of Syracuse, Emily Mahana. Emily is a 2014 graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School and a 2018 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Syracuse University, with a degree in Civil Engineering. She has a long history of participation in the Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade as an Irish dancer for the Rosin Academy of Irish Dance. Emily is currently serving as Miss New York for America, representing the state of New York at the national pageant in Las Vegas, where she came in the top 15. She actively volunteers in the community as an advocate for increased involvement and interest in STEM fields, especially aimed at girls and young women. Emily is currently employed as an Engineer at Barton and Loguidice here in Syracuse. She is honored to serve as the 2020 Rose of Syracuse. Emily will be accompanied at the Parade by her court of Rosebuds. Congratulations to all!
