shamrock Syracuse St. Patrick’s 2010 Parade Theme

“Céad mile fáilte!”

Our theme this year, “Céad mile fáilte” (One Hundred Thousand Welcomes) is one of the most well-known of all the Irish sayings and is especially appropriate for our 28th Syracuse St. Patrick’s Parade. We are welcoming everyone in Central New York to our glorious parade.

Céad mile fáilte is the saying that the Irish use to greet visitors to the Emerald Isle, renowned for its charm, warmth, and fun-loving people, as is Central New York. Both areas are known for their richness of history and culture, and the beauty of the countryside, from its friendly neighborhoods and lush green parks to the beautiful lakes, all capturing your heart.

We invite everyone to experience the magic of our parade which brightens the month of March and say "Cead Mile Failte - One Hundred Thousand Welcomes" to the 2010 Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade.
