| The Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade Committee is proud to announce our 2011 Grand Marshal, Richie Walsh. Walsh has a BA from Syracuse University and is currently enrolled in the PhD program at the Maxwell School. He has been employed at the Syracuse Police Department for over 40-years. He has been an adjunct professor at LeMoyne College and a member of the Syracuse Kiltie Pipe Band for over 25-years. He has worked with the Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade since the beginning and is currently the Treasurer, as well as actively volunteering with the Hunger Project and Project Children. He is a member of the Ancient order of Hibernians, an organizer of the Syracuse Irish Festival, past-president of the Rape Crisis Center Board of Directors, and past-president of the Huntington Family Center Board of Directors. Congratulations to Richie Walsh. See you on Parade day!! |
